Who can you trust? What is the truth?
Many people find that maintaining a mind, body and spiritual balance requires a conscious effort on each level. It doesn’t have to be a central focus all of the time but discord reminds us when we feel something isn’t quite right, in some way. All to often, we then scurry to find quick solutions but our well being needs more than a quick fix.
Mind, body and spirit are all essential parts of our being who ever we are born to be and as our personality they facilitate our lives. When any one of these elements is ignored, dysfunction becomes the result. Inefficiency is inevitable on some level.
The mind, body and spirit are connected in all of us. Our challenge is to maintain a healthy balance in our minds, within our bodies and with spiritual consciousness so that we can realize our greatest potential, in the moment. All are essential parts to the existence of a whole person. Each element, the state of mind, physical health and spiritual maturity...facilitates the manifestation of our being and the creative process of our evolution. In turn, the state of our being as individuals affects the lives of
others including people we know and those we don't. This perpetuation of "affect" is like a drop of water that sends waves in a 360 degree direction.
Everyone’s purpose should be to raise themselves and others up to the highest reaches of goodness within and to enjoy and share our gifts with others, but in truth it is not always that way. A prevailing train of thought or focus on the intellectual process can cause the body to be ignored and to loose it’s shape and strength. Indeed an unchecked unbalanced mental focus that does not respect the body or spiritual aspects of life can cause vast devastation. A focus on the spiritual has led some to forsake the body entirely and die of hunger while others create their own bondage focused on the negative elements of fear. A focus on the body has been known to create extremes that range from anorexia to unnecessary surgery to the ill effects of racism. Ultimately imbalance can only be healed by the consciously aware individual.
If we are to live our lives to the fullest then we must begin by accepting ourselves and others for who we are and make the effort to be attentive to gaining and maintaining balance in this moment. It makes a wonderful difference in life to be enhanced intellectually, physically healthy and spiritually enlightened.
If we begin with the intent to look for the good in ourselves and others than we instantly have found our greatest source of energy for the inevitable challenges of life.
